Founded in 2005, Incite Rehab's exclusive focus is to provide therapy services to skilled nursing facilities and health care management companies. Incite Rehab offers an integrated suite of industry-leading services, as well as proprietary tools that help their customers continue to provide superior clinical care and capture untapped revenue and profit.
The Challenge
Incite Rehab approached Kristian Andersen + Associates with a unique brand-building challenge. They needed a tool that would effectively cut through the sales and marketing clutter and get noticed by prospective customers. The key to Incite's sales process was to secure a live demonstration of their product and services offering. Once Incite had the opportunity to present their case in person, their close rate was near 100%. The challenge was to capture a prospect's attention long enough in order to articulate their value and secure an audience with the decision maker.
The Process
Kristian Andersen + Associates began by brainstorming potential vehicles to convey their message. They had tried brochures, direct mail, cold calls, and trade shows, yet none of these had yielded satisfactory results. KA+A suggested building a custom iPhone/iPod Touch application that would illustrate the value of partnering with Incite. We proceeded by building a comprehensive video presentation of Incite's products and services. In order to really personalize the experience, we then built an ROI calculator that would allow the prospects to enter in their own specific metrics, and immediately understand the impact that Incite could have on their own business. Ultimately the application was loaded onto a pre-configured iPod Touch and delivered directly to the decision makers via FedEx. The iPod Touch was theirs to keep, just for watching the 10 minute presentation.
The Result
As of this writing, all of the iPod Touch devices that have been sent to prospects have resulted in a both a meeting and a sale. Due to the response to the program, Incite Rehab mails the devices sparingly to ensure that they can follow-up with individual prospects and deliver on their promise of personal service and timely implementation. This program was a great example of identifying the appropriate vehicle to communicate the right message and then letting the strength of the product or service do the selling.
